VCHS Football Falcons Beat Stoneridge Knights

Quarter Back #1 Hunter Jackson try’s to run for a touchdown but is tackled right before he can score.

It was VCS Falcons vs Stoneridge Knights August 27,  2021, for the first home game of the season. Hunter Jackson led in passing yards with 106 yards and in rushing yards with 121 yards. Bryce Pazdel led in receiving yards with 48 yards. The final score was 30 – 0, as Falcons won their first game. 

In the 1st quarter the Knights got an interception against the Falcons and many helmet penalties were given. In the 2nd quarter Bryce Pazdel got a big run downfield. Hunter Jackson had a huge QB scramble and also had his first touchdown. Noa Sioasi had a big sack during the 2nd quarter.

Hawkin West was down during halftime, the first injury of 2021-2022 VCHS Falcon Football. In the 3rd quarter Noa Siaosi gained a touchdown for VCHS Falcons. Hunter Jackson threw an interception with his 2nd interception of the night. In the 4th quarter Levi West had a rushing touchdown to give the Falcons more points. 

Junior Jayden Smotherman was one of the many fans in the stands that night.  “I thought the Falcons did very well and I loved the game it was fun to watch,” he said.
