Varsity Girls Basketball is back for another year at VCS! While their season may have had an interesting start, students are excited to see what is coming from our Lady Falcons this season.

Their major inconvenience this season was their first game on November 23, 2021, over the Thanksgiving break, was cancelled.

Besides this hiccup, however, everything should be set for them to have a great and successful season. Their first games according to Maxpreps.com were on December 2 versus Bradshaw Christian at 6 p.m. at home and December 3 versus Marin Academy at 6 p m at home. Both of these games were part of a tournament, and the Lady Falcons had losses at both games. The score against Bradshaw was 23 – 34,
and the score against Marin Academy was 12 – 52.

December 6 the Lady Falcons played Winters High school at 6 p.m. at home, and the score of that game was 11 – 49, another difficult loss for the Falcons. On December 9, their game against John Adams Academy ended in another loss, 8 – 38.

The next few home games include the Christmas Tournament, when they will play Wood (December 16). December 18 they are scheduled to play Berean Christian at 3 and Mt. Diablo at 6. Also during Christ-
mas break, a game is set for December 21 against Turlock Christian.

All these games are home games, so being able to see the game will be easy for Falcon fans. In 2022, a game on January 3 against Concord wraps up the pre-season. Then league competition begins on January 5 with Rio Vista at home. Linden at home on January 12 follows, with Esparto at home on January 21.
