The Volleyball women’s team has had a successful season. The JV team got 2nd overall, and had a lot of adversity throughout the season. We played many games with only 6 players and still kept our record 10-2.” Coach Alicia Borges said. The JV girls teams season ended Oct. 23. Though Varsity ended undefeated in league and is going to the playoffs and is going to states.

The JV team ended up second in the league behind only their biggest competitor. “Our biggest competition was definitely Linden.” sophomore Brecken Mueller said.  “Sadly, we weren’t able to win against them, however it was a lot of fun to play them, because I feel they were the first truly challenging opponent we had” The girls had a strong season and are looking forward to the- next.

“My biggest accomplishment was being captain and playing a position I’ve never played before.” sophomore Olivia Immel said. Even with a new position, Immel led her team to an undefeated season. “Varsity kept a good stride ending undefeated with a record of 12-0.” Coach Alicia Borges said.

The Lady Falcons made their way to the semifinals of the playoffs. They won this game 3-0 but lost section finals to Ripon Christian 0-3 on Nov. 6. However the girls were still eligible for state and played Nov. 9 against Oakland Tech, with the game being played at the Will C.
